Shabber Saheb97 days agoWe are very pleased with Helder and its services. Back in October 2025, our daughter in Group 7 had just taken her CITO exams (at the start of the school year), and we learned that she scored just shy of the VWO level in math; in the rest of the subjects (Dutch and related subjects), she earned good grades. We (the parents) have a background in mathematics (from India), but we couldn’t help much since everything was entirely in Dutch. So we reached out to Helder and explained our situation, and Jeroen assigned her teacher Juli. After just a few sessions, we realized things were going exactly as we’d hoped. I asked Jeroen to increase the number of lessons right before the CITO test and to give her more practice tests. My daughter received clear explanations for her mistakes, and they helped her get to the point where she made almost no mistakes on the practice tests. After repeated tests and supportive coaching, she ended up (at the end of the CITO test in May 2026) with just 3 mistakes out of 60 questions in math. Although her Dutch performance was consistent on both CITO tests—she was also taught Dutch well at Helder—I insisted on focusing solely on math, as my daughter needed more help there. So her training consisted of 70% math and 30% Dutch. After repeated tests and coaching, the final outcome was a recommendation for VWO. I’m truly happy with the result.Posted on Google
Linda Bruins103 days agoAfter having had a positive experience with our other son, we also arranged exam prep sessions with Helder for our youngest son. This time, it was just for German and French. And once again, the results were excellent. He gained a full point in both subjects on the Central Written Exam, and he’s earned his diploma. Thank you, Jeroen, for the great communication and excellent support.Posted on Google
Charlotte Keijzer106 days agoUgh, teenagers, exam stress, and making sure they give it their all!! What a nightmare! Jeroen was there for me every step of the way. The tutoring sessions helped my son pass on his first try, and HELDER made it okay for me, as a mom, to show all the emotions I was feeling!!!! Thank you so much for your endless patience and for thinking things through with me! This has helped my son—and definitely me, as a mom—so much!!! Thank youPosted on Google

Anna Maryam109 days agoWe are so incredibly grateful for the support we received from Helder Tutoring. Our youngest son turned to them at a time when it looked like he wouldn’t make it through his senior year. Thanks to the team’s expert guidance, personal attention, and dedication, he was able to graduate after all. Because we were so satisfied with the results and the way they worked with our son, we also enrolled our other son. He, too, ultimately passed with flying colors. The team at Helder Tutoring is professional, dedicated, and truly works with you to find solutions. They listen carefully to the needs of both parents and students, ensuring that the support is perfectly tailored to what’s needed. Communication is pleasant, and the tutors not only help students with the course material but also boost their self-confidence. We are incredibly grateful. We can definitely recommend Helder Tutoring to anyone looking for high-quality, personalized support. We highly recommend them!Posted on Google

Ya-ju Chow109 days agoThanks to the help of Team Helder, my daughter passed her HAVO diploma on her first try. To achieve this, the tutors expected my daughter to put in the effort by reviewing the material to be covered before each tutoring session. During the sessions, the tutors went over the material my daughter had questions about. Afterward, they practiced taking exams. This approach to tutoring really helped my daughter.Posted on Google
Cindy Ververgaard-Vagevuur109 days agoOur daughter benefited immensely from the tutoring sessions! Judith van Meelen112 days agoA very helpful introduction and personal attention, plus a pleasant location. Communication throughout the exam prep course was excellent. Our son took exam prep courses for German and Biology; without them, he probably wouldn’t have made it (especially with German). In addition to the practice and explanations, the courses also motivated him to study his other subjects. As a result, he earned a passing grade in both subjects and passed his exams.Posted on Google

Thanks to their guidance, her performance improved significantly in every area. K. T292 days agoWe would like to express our sincere appreciation to Helder Training for the excellent guidance provided to our daughter (grade 8). She has shown tremendous progress, achieving an I+ score in math and level II in reading comprehension, with a strong trend toward level I. Her teacher has even indicated that if she continues on this path, she can expect an excellent school recommendation. This makes us incredibly proud and happy. Special thanks to Jeroen and tutor Zaria for their dedication, commitment, and professional guidance. The positive impact on our daughter's self-confidence and results is clearly visible. We are very satisfied with the results achieved and highly recommend Helder Training for CITO training and exam training. Thank you very much for making this difference!Posted on Google
M. V. Riel297 days agoA pleasant and safe place for our son to do his homework. Because he has many extracurricular activities, he received a lot of support and structure from Jeroen to help him focus on his work. This has given him a good foundation for planning and working in a focused and targeted manner. No distractions, just getting things done. As a result, his results have really improved. Jeroen has a great approach to guiding and coaching him. He understands how important other things are to a teenager. He keeps him focused on his studies. And that saves us a lot of arguments and control at home! That has given us peace of mind. In short, a safe, structured environment where homework can be done in a pleasant way. Good results and no more arguments at home.Posted on Google

Results improved significantly and, more importantly, our son now experiences a greater sense of self-confidence and motivation. It turns out that his potential is significantly higher than initially thought. While his initial school recommendation was MAVO-HAVO, he has now received the final recommendation VWO.
